August 1, 2012

Well this week we did very well.  President and our zone leaders are super happy with us because the average amount of lessons taught in the Gorizia area a week is like 10 and we got 15 so things are going pretty well.

Thursday we went to go see a couple of members and Giacamo the one who just got his call and so we went to teach him things from Preach my Gospel and what to generally expect as a missionary.

Friday our morning got kinda messed up because we went to go see a member but didnt know exactly how to get their and what bus to take and so she was kinda mad at us on Sunday.  So we are going to see her again this Friday so hopefully we can make her less mad at us. The gypsy lady, she is still super crazy but we taught her this time because Giacamo was with us. She just has a really hard time staying on topic. Then we went to go see our new convert Cyril and we had something planned but he just said I don’t know whats on your guys' agenda so he basically just taught us haha.

On Monday we scambied again and I was with Anziano Gibbons and we had a good scambio but nothing happened, we found no one. So then we went to Trieste to rescambio.  That night Anziano Mina cooked for us and he is from Sicily so it was really good! Then we taught english class and thats about it.

Today, Wednesday,  we are going to the Alps to see some cool waterfalls and stuff!  This city is just hard to find investigators but we are just going to work our behinds off to get investigators and we will baptize!

Yes, I wrote to Jared, I hope he got it.and as for the catholic party outside of our house it finally ended and we dont have to go to bed at midnight anymore.

Well tell Grandpa I will pray for him and hope that he will get better. Also we can’t watch the Oplympics but when we pass by bars we watch a little but not a lot.  I wish I could watch them though, especially the USA basketball team!

Well  that’s about it for this week only because there isnt much going on.  Love  you and hope your week and the rest of the summer goes well!
Jake
