This week has been really slow but on Thursday we went to go see our ward mission leader, I love his family. We talked about work for a bit, played with his kids, and then said we were going to leave just before lunch and he told us in English, "just shut up, what are you talking about, you're staying", he is so funny. Then we went to teach and bless the sacrament for the lady who can't come to church. Then we went to go see a family we reactivated. I have been here ever since he called us for a blessing right when I got here in Torino and now he and his family come to church every week! And they just got their daughter from Ecuador so now there family is complete. It's kinda funny because the daughter doesn't understand anything we say but we can understand her just because all latin languages are extremely close and I understand all of them execpt French because I haven't had someone talk to me in French yet. Then we saw a less active lady with her lazy sons who don't want to do anything. Then we saw a new convert.
Then Saturday morning we did a scambio and I scambioed with Anz. Pitt again, my MTC companion and we get along so well now. It's weird how you can change your mind about someone! Bad first impresions I guess. But I think it was just because we weren't used to being around someone 24 hrs a day.
Then Sunday we had lunch with our new convert and she is from Southern Italy and man she is an amazing cook.
Monday we cleaned the house and I called President about transfers because I needed to know if I needed to buy a monthly bus pass or not. Well Anz. Merrill and I are staying the same here in Torino and I'm still District Leader. But that means if I want to work out I need to do it in the morning but I hate working out in the morning. Then yesterday we went to comune (I don't remember what it would be called in English and we got a permesso (I don't remember that word in English either) for a Mostra (which I don't know what that is in English either haha).Comune, from what I can tell is Registry, Permesso - Permission, Mostra - View?
Then we had another new convert lesson and got some old Italian money that they don't use anymore. She is 70 so she had some. Then we saw our ward mission leader again and got a lot of stuff done.
So I'm doing 6 months in Torino. I don't know why but I always stay 6 months in places. So after this transfer I am definitely leaving to my "death city" because I will be there for 2 transfers and go home! I can't believe I have only 3 transfers left! I'm starting 14 of 16 this Monday. Crazy how time flies so fast!!!!!!!!
The cold city we went to last week is called Cuneo and I was already sick before that. That's good Josh is going to go to school. There are a lot of bus strikes because alot of Italians are lazy and don't want to do anything. They all complain about no work but there is plenty of work to get them by until they find a better job but they choose to do nothing. Yes I got pics of the twins I baptized and I think they are doing fine. Only one date for baptism for the 24th
well love, you bye!
