This week we have been in a slump because we have no investigators. Mary and Frieder dont want to see us. Esther the Ducatti mom won’t answer her phone. We haven’t seen Daniel, he keeps canceling on us, and on top of it all the less active Dean and his girlfriend Silva arent married and Silvia was divorced only a year ago. Italy has a silly law that whoever is divorced has to wait 3 years before they can be married again and we can’t ask one of them to move out because they have a 3 month old baby named Darren so we just have to help them gain a testimony and they will have to wait. We can get Dean to recieve the priesthood though. We have just been trying to find people but we got a referral from the Bishop, the Russo family and the wife by just reading the book of mormon thinks its true so we will be seeing them next saturday. We would have invited them to baptism but the Bishop and the wife ruined the spirit because the wife got up in the middle of the lesson and started cooking! Then the Bishop just started having a side conversation with the man, they both served missions so I don’t understand why they did that. But we will invite them next time!
Yesterday a super miracle happened, we were just kinda wondering around inviting because everyone canceled on us and we were just standing there wondering what we should do and we stopped this woman name Cinzia or Cynthia in English and we started talking to her and she just started crying saying how she has lost her faith and has a six year old at home and only works two hours a week and is divorced and was going to get food from the church and how she thinks God doesn’t think she exists anymore. So we just bore testimony that God does love her and knows everything she has been through and was right there with her and made her cry more. Then she started talking about how her ex husband beat her and then pulled up her shirt and said this was the last thing he left me with, and there was a giant scar on her stomach from below her belly button to mid chest and she explained that her ex husband cut her with a knife. I hope we can help and I would ask you all to pray for Cynthia that she can feel the love of God in her life again!
Today we went to the new Ferrari museum and it was a rip off, there was so much excitement to go see it and we went and there wasn’t even any Ferraris; it was like super old alfa romeos (italian car) and old Maseratis, it was super dumb! Nothing like the one I went and saw last August in Mantova.
I am not sure why the guy who almost killed me came at us maybe, he was apart of the mafia or crazy! I think I need to carry a huge knife on me from now on! sounds good about the debit card. Yes, hump day is one year, its coming so fast just 3 months. I bought a new sd card and I am working on sending a flash drive soon. And I found a place I can by luggage so I’m buying it today.
Yes, I met Sorella Walton. She is so nice! Glad I got to finally meet her.
