Ciao Mamma,
The flight from Chicago to London was sooo long but it was fun. I sat next to a couple of people and they were interested in what I was doing and my message but they didn't want to know more.
The plane to Italy was awesome the Alps were sooo huge! Well it is so different than America and the London airport is so awesome, they have a subway in it to take you places its way bigger than Chicago !
When we shop for food we have to rent our shopping cart and buy all your plastic bags each time its kinda silly. Most of the roads are cobblestone or a brick its pretty cool the food is amazing! A member fed us the other day and mamma mia it was sooo delicous and I thought you were a good cook haha. They just kept feeding us and feeding us, I thought I was going to be sick!!. Everyone is pretty nice and there are so many Africans here because of the war in Libya . We teach them quite abit and I cant really understand them. My first day an Italian said I spoke the language pretty well. The Duomo in Milan

is sooooooooo amazing and beautiful. I have taken a train to Verona everyday so far from Montava because we have had to do stuff there. Verona is where the story of Romeo and Juliet takes place and Romeo is supposed to be from Mantova. The statues and everything are amazing and art is everywhere! I have soo many pics to send you I took 50 just from the MTC to here! I hope we can come back together and go to the temple when it opens. I love talking to the Africans they are funny and they are just like African Americans but not violent. There is a a buday in every apartment they are kinda strange.
My companion is Anziano Glowa he is pretty nice and from Canada . We will get a long good for sure. My first day with him he pulled a mean but funny joke. We were at the mission leaders house but I didn't know it was and they were trying to get me to drink what I thought was alcohol and coffee and they said they would get baptized if we drank it so my companion just downs it and the next thing I know they grab knives and I just ran fast out of there and left my companion in there. Then he told me it was a joke!! I was kinda mad but now its funny.
Our branch mission leader is soo nice. He is from Brazil and speaks Portugeuse and Italian fluently. I can't wait to be baptizing. It will be soo wonderful. Well I have to go for now. I will write more later or next week
love you bye
Anziano Jake
